City Winery is known for its scintillating Klezmer brunches and inebriating mimosas. Today’s deal brings you a festive Sunday morning in the company of the Litvakus Band:
$22.50 for 2 Tickets and 2 Mimosas at Klezmer Brunch with Dmitri Slepovitch and Litvakus Band ($45 Value)
- Sunday, February 19, 2011, 11:00 AM
- Internationally Acclaimed Litvakus Quintet
- Special Guest Appearance: Yaeko Miranda Elmaleh (Violin)
The Renowned clarinetist and musicologist Dmitri Slepovitch is back with his quintet, the Litvakus Band. This top-notch band brings to soaring life the Belarusian and Lithuanian Jewish heritage laced with the thrill of modern American and world music.
No matter what you call this, it’s awesome! Actually, it’s as fantastically delightful as the City Winery’s trademark Sunday salmon and grainy Caviar, spread over pure Provencal butter on a slab of fresh Portuguese bread. Naturally, with a glass of the best wine in town!
In every detail, it is sophistication and refined simplicity blended together, to produce a rare mélange of sounds and emotions – music for dancing, singing along, thinking and rejoicing.

Yaeko Miranda Elmaleh (Violin), a graduate of New England Conservatory of Music, a recipient of many awards, and a member of the world-renowned Klezmer Conservatory Band. Yaeko will make a special appearance for the City Winery Klezmer Brunch on Sunday, February 19th.
