  • About the Concert Program:

The program will include romantic pieces for solo piano:

- Rachmaninoff: 18th Variation from Rhapsodie on a Theme of Paganini

- Debussy: Arabesque

- Tyberg: Legende

- Schubert- Liszt: Swan Song

- Schubert: Impromptu in E Flat Major

-  Satie: First Gymnopedie,

- Ravel: Bolero.

In addition, there will be pieces for Cello and Piano:

- Saint- Saens: Swan

- Thais: Meditation

- Debussy: Sonata for cello and piano.

~ Katya Grineva will be joined by Maestro Byron Duckwall, a Cellist

  • About Katya Grineva:

Katya Grineva, known for her romantic piano performances, has played throughout the United States, Europe, and South America. She is the only female solo pianist to have performed at Carnegie Hall a record 16 times. Widely praised by The New York Times and other publications, Ms. Grineva is one of the greatest pianists of our time!

Born in Moscow, Katya made her American debut in 1993 with a performance of Mozart’s Piano Concerto, No. 27 in B-flat, K.595 accompanied by the Baltimore Symphony. In May 1998, she achieved her dream with her debut at Carnegie Hall, where she has continued to perform over the years.
