- About the MARKSCHEIDER KUNST:
Markscheider Kunst (Маркшейдер Кунст) is a band from St.Petersburg, Russia. It plays afro-rock, soukous, ska and reggae. There are also a lot of Russian musical influences that can be discerned in the band’s repertoire. Markscheider Kunst was founded in 1992 by geology students from St. Petersburg. The band has performed in many countries; it has also been the opener band for Manu Chao in Moscow in 2002.
