A triumphant return after last year’s hit!

The Moscow Theatre of Nations, which made its North American debut in a critically acclaimed and sold-out run during Lincoln Center Festival 2015, returns to New York City Center with the award-winning production of SHUKSHIN’S STORIES, staged by the renowned Latvian director Alvis Hermanis (“Trovatore” with Placido Domingo and Anna Netrebko; “Baryshnikov – Brodsky”).

Based on the stories of the iconic 20th century Siberian-born writer Vasily Shukshin, this vivid and witty production comprises ten vignettes full of love, humor, nostalgia, and laughter. Accented by authentic folk tunes and colorful texts, and featuring all star-studded cast, including artistic director Evgeny Mironov, Chulpan Khamatova, and Julia Peresild, this breathtaking production is a true theatrical masterpiece!

International Cherry Orchard Festival of the Arts (, promoting cultural diversity globally, is back to New York for the fourth year with two unique programs, each showcasing the best of international artistry and talent.  An evening with Tamara Gverdtsitel – “Mamele, The Mother’s Eyes” will take place at Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall (881 Seventh Avenue) on June 1, 2016 at 8 pm and Moscow’s Theater of Nations production of Shukshin’s Stories, directed by Alvis Hermanis, will run at New York City Center (131 West 55th Street) from June 8-11, 2016.
