June 2:

Marcus Persiani – Piano
Donald Nicks  – Bass 
TC III – Vocals 

Marcus has been a steady, vital presence in New York City’s uptown  jam-session scene. As house pianist with the Sugar Hill Jazz Quartet led by  Patience Higgins, he appeared every Monday night at the historic Lenox  Lounge in Harlem. Marcus was also pianist for the house band in the newly  reopened Minton’s Playhouse.

In his years of steady uptown jamming, Marcus has played with Wynton Marsalis, Cassandra Wilson, Lewis Nash, and many others.

June 9:

Ray Blue – Sax

Annette St. John  – Vocals 

Ray Blue has a majestic presence when playing and his style can be described as a fusion of straight ahead jazz and African groove. Ray is a New York bred saxophonist, composer, arranger and educator who performs and conducts workshops and master classes internationally. He has shared the stage with Wycliff Gordon, Danny Mixon, Patience Higgins, Cotton Club All Stars, and the Harlem Blues and Jazz Band and countless others. Ray is also 
the founder of Cross-Cultural Connection, an organization that promotes jazz culture, education and performance.

June 16:

Seydura Avecmoi – Vocal
John F. Adams  – Keys
Thomas Gooding – Bass 

Seydura performs many different musical genres including jazz, big band, r&b, 
classical and standards but most recently has developed a strong affinity  to the blues. Seydurah has lent her vocal skills to many projects: The off-Broadway production of “Revelations”, rock group Stepdad’s debut EP, female vocalist for funk band Payback, Showtime At the Apollo. A fiery, passion filled blues vocalist who sings jazz, blues and soul as well. In December 2016, she headlined several packed shows at famed B.B. KING in Times Square!

June 23:

Vinnie Knight – Vocals
John Halsey – Piano
Ralph Hamporiam – Bass

Ms. Vinnie Knight, born in New York City and worked in Jazz Clubs thru out the  City and hotels. Toured Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Africa, England Istanbul with the Big Bands Of Harlem. She is acting in the television Series ‘New Detectives and FBI Series as well as  the motion picture, “Summer’s Dream”, for New Dominion Pictures.

June 30:

Keith Dames – Vocal
Marvin Horne – Guitar
Lafayette Harris  – Piano 
Donald Nicks  – Bass 

Vocalist/Bandleader Keith A. Dames is a Bahamian American, originally from Miami, Florida, now resides in the Village of Harlem USA. Mr. Dames considers himself a student of the Billie Holiday School of Music and says he has always been a “Singer” trapped in a “Dancers” body. Mr. Dames began singing primarily but not exclusively in the genre of Jazz & Blues the Summer of 2000 (The Millennium) at New Amsterdam Musical Association.
