One of the most celebrated authors of our time, Grigory Chkhartishvili (under the pseudonym Boris Akunin) wrote many works of fiction, which include The Adventures of Sister PelagiaThe Coronation, F.M., and numerous others. Many of his books feature Erast Fandorin as the chief protagonist and sleuth, rivaling Sherlock Holmes and Hercules Poirot. In recent years, Akunin has also began to write and publish the History of the Russian Empire.

According to Wikipedia, “Walter Ellis Mosley  is an American novelist, most widely recognized for his crime fiction. He has written a series of best-selling historical mysteries featuring the hard-boiled detective Easy Rawlins, a black private investigator and WWII veteran, living in the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles; they are perhaps his most popular works.”
